Ninety Nine

Hi Stashers.  Did the title confuse you a bit?  Well let me explain.

From now until March 31st 2018 you can buy up to £220 worth of Stampin' Up products for just £99.   YES £99.

What's the catch?  There isn't one.

When you sign up as a demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration (click here for details of Sale-A-Bration) you will be able to chose £130 worth of product to form your kit.  In addition to this, you will also be able to chose two additional free stamp sets with a combined value of up to £90.  So that is a total of up to £220 worth of products for just £99.

But there's more.  In addition to all of that lovely product, you will also receive a business supply kit worth £25 and all of this comes with free shipping, so you are looking at a whopping total of £249.95 for just £99.

Oh and did I mention that you will then be entitled to a 20% for the whole time that you qualify as a demonstrator (demo).  Click here for more details.

To stay qualified as a demo, you will need to put orders through totalling a retail value of at least £276. This could be personal purchases, orders you put through with friends or craft groups you run or belong to or even classes that you run.

Now I know that not every one will want to run this as a business and that is fine.  If you have a special event coming up, such as a special birthday party, a wedding or a Christening that is going to require a lot of card and paper, then this could be the perfect time for you to sign up.

Come for the discount and stay for the great products.  There are new products coming out all of the time, so I am sure that you will love being able to use that 20% discount.

If you would like to sign up as a demo and take advantage of this great offer click HERE

If you have any questions, please get in touch and I will do my best to answer them.

Keep an eye out for news on BAMP (Build A Mini Project) and if you can get to Gravesend in Kent I am holding an "All You Can Craft" event March 17th at the Asda Community room.  Click HERE for more info.

Thanks for dropping by.  Catch up with you all soon.

Happy when things go wrong

Hi Stashers.  How are you all doing out there is craft land?

A bit of a story time today.

Today I got inspired by a make from a lady named Marianne (sorry I don't have her surname), so I thought I would try casing her make.  I knew without thinking that I wanted to use the Painted with love DSP and having roughly worked out the basic measurements, that I wanted to use 12x12" card.

I had chocolate box in my head so I went with Early Espresso 12x12"card and gold foil sheet to set off the painted love DSP I had chosen to use.

I figured I had a pretty good idea of what I was doing so I set up the camera, having decided to video the process for my group.  Remember, I had never made one of these before and I wasn't following a tutorial.

All of the cutting for the Early espresso bits was straight forward, but I had made a small miscalculation to my measurements that I wouldn't notice till later.  (I had wanted the front lip of the box - top and bottom to stick out a quarter of an inch more.)

I made a few mistakes when cutting the dsp and as a result, wasted some.  Also, the dsp on the insides needed to be bigger than I cut them so that they went more edge to edge (hind sight is wonderful lol)

When my youngest got home from school he thought it was great, but I explained that I had made a lot of obvious mistakes.  He asked why I wasn't upset about it (I can be a bit of a perfectionist when looking at my own makes and can always find faults.)  So I told him that I learned a lot today.  I learned that some times I need to plan more.  Some times I need to slow down (most mistakes came from being over eager and rushing) and I learned how to make something I didn't know how to until today.

Most of the crafters I know are critical of their own makes. I'm trying to learn how to appreciate what I learned from the process.

Some how I don't think I will be putting that video up any where lol  I will try again at some point.  The box is a cute size and if you don't go crazy with the layering, you could probably make this out of one sheet of 12x12 card and one sheet of dsp.

As some of you may know, I'm currently working on a BAMP (Build A Mini Project) which is an eight week course teaching you how to make a mini album.  It is great for both beginners and those who have crafted before.  This will run throughout February, so watch this space for more information.

I guess I should go clean up the craftamarth of making my box.  Chat to you all soon.

Birthday wit stamps

Hello to you all.

Hands up if you like quirky or funny cards.  I do 🙌 and that is why I love the Birthday wit stamp set - 145753

Last week I showed you a tutorial to make the first of three cards that I have made using it.  You can find that post here.

For this card I used Real Red - 106578 Basic Black - 121688 and Whisper White - 106549  The ink that I used is Bermuda Bay - 131171  I love that bright pop of colour that Real Red gives.  As the name suggests, this is a real red.  It's not orangey or slightly pink, it's a proper red.

I forgot to take a picture, but inside this card it says "You're welcome"

For this card I used Real Red - 106578 Basic Black - 121688 Whisper White - 106549 and Daffodil Delight - 121680 card stock.  Both the ribbon (lemon lime twist mini striped ribbon - 145611) and the Tutti Fruitti adhesive backed sequins - 145609  are from the new Spring/Summer catalogue.

This card is a center step card.  They are very easy to make and I will be doing a tutorial on how to make this sort of card very soon.  The toucan on this card is from the Bird Banter stamp set - 145852  Please excuse my colouring.  It has been a while.

Don't forget, there is now a monthly challenge on this blog.  You can find the button that takes you to it in the side bar.  I'm looking forward to seeing every ones makes.  You can enter directly on the blog post or via the Facebook group The Stampin' Stashers

I have about three projects on the go right now, so I am off to try to get one of them finished.  Happy crafting to you all and thanks for stopping by.

Birthday list

Hello Stashers.  I have a new favourite stamp set and I wanted to share a a card that I made with it with you all.

Birthday wit - 145753

I some times struggle as I don't have a lot of sentiment stamps (or I didn't until recently).  With this stamp set I don't need to look for a focal point AND a sentiment, because this stamp set is big enough to have that all in one.  The sentiment IS the focal point.

I have made two slight variations on the same card.  If you would like to see how it was made, check out this video.

It's a fun card to make and perfect for bulk making cards.  The witty sentiment is perfect for any fussy eaters that you might know 😀

I have used bright colours, but if you use a different colour way to make this card.  I would love to see what you used.

Thanks for stopping by.  I have an idea for a 3D project, so I am off to see if I have every thing I need to make it.

Catch up with you all soon.

7 weeks of Christmas

Good morning Stashers.  Welcome to the final instalment of 7 weeks of Christmas.

For this last card I have made a diamond fold/spring fold card.  These are quick and easy to make and depending on how you dress them up, you can make them look really fancy or simple and effective.

For this card I used Very Vanilla card stock - 106550  and some DSP from the Eastern Palace suite - 144147 and finished off with an Eastern gold vinyl sticker - 144150 from the same suite.

If you would like to see how it is made, check out the video above.

We have a new catalogue that goes live on January 3rd, so I have been busy making samples to show you from one of the new stamps sets.  I have been using a lot of bright colours, which any one who knows me will tell you, this is not the norm lol.

There are lots of special offers coming up.  I can't wait to share them with you, but if you are looking for a last minute crafty deal, remember to check out the Year end sales event.  There is a link in the side bar.  Also the Clearance rack has been refreshed.  Prices start as low as £1.30 and there are loads of bargains to be found there as well.  When ordering, please chose me as your demo.  You can find out how by clicking "Your personal shopper"

If you haven't already, please follow my blog so that you can stay up to date with what is going on and the new tutorials that I hope to share with you.

Thanks for stopping by 😊
